SCHOOLHOUSE
The Fosterton Schoolhouse was built in 1914, operated as an infants and primary school until its closure in1964.
It was used as a residence for some years, and now has been recently renovated for use as self-catering accommodation best suited for two adults.

The schoolhouse is set within a private 2-acre property on the picturesque Fosterton loop, just 7km from the township of Dungog.
​
Dungog is located at the foothills of the BarringtoTops
National Park. Situated along the Williams River in the north of the Hunter Valley, the township is just an hour from Newcastle and Port Stephens, two hours from Sydney and thirty minutes from the Pacific or New England Highway.
​

FEATURES
The schoolhouse has an open plan living area
with polished boards throughout.
It has a queen size bed, comfortable lounge and eating areas.
​
The kitchen is equipped with all essentials; dishwasher, full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, tea and plunged coffee
facilities included. A gas BBQ available on the verandah.
​
For cooler months, electric blankets and a wood burning fire is available. Reverse cycle air-conditioning, and ceiling fan for the
warmer months.
​
Television, DVD and CD player, iPod dock, hairdryer, iron and
ironing board are also available.
​

TARIFF AND BOOKINGS
To confirm a reservation, a 50% deposit at the time of booking is required using bank transfer.
​
Please note we don't accept payment by cheque.
The balance of payment to be made on arrival using either cash or bank transfer.

If cancellation or change of date occurs greater than
21days from booking, deposit will be returned
​
If cancellation or change of date occurs within 21 days
deposit will be retained.
​
