Blue Flower

The Fosterton Schoolhouse was built in 1914, operated as an infants and primary school until its closure in 1964.

It was used as a residence for some years, and now has been recently renovated for use as serviced accommodation.

The schoolhouse is set within a private 2-acre property on the picturesque Fosterton loop, just 7 km from the township of Dungog.

Dungog is located at the foothills of the Barrington Tops National Park. Situated along the Williams River in the north of the Hunter Valley, the township is just an hour from Newcastle and Port Stephens, two hours from Sydney and thirty minutes from the Pacific or New England Highway.

Unwind and relax in this peaceful setting or explore the local attractions.
